Recovery in the Aerospace Industry leads to skills shortage

The aerospace industry has experienced a period of sustained recovery in recent months, driven in large by growth in the commercial aviation sector. Despite only minimal change to the trend of falling global passenger traffic, particularly in the business and first class sectors, airline orders for new aircraft are on the increase. This recovery is not reflected in the military sector however, which remains somewhat depressed having experienced several programme cancellations.
